Finally been able to scan in and edit the black and white 35mm film I shot at Battleships’ gig.
Im really pleased with the way this has come out, as my first time for a lot of things : shooting a gig in film, developing 3200 film and scanning and editing film.
At first I wasn’t sure about the amount of grain, but I love it now! :D

I used my Canon 5 and Ilford DELTA 3200 film.

Some of the Digital photos I took during Battleships gig in the Zanzibar on March 9th, I mostly shot film that night, which I should be developing, printing and scanning tomorrow, so hopefully I’ll have some good ones to upload here. 
This was the first time I’d heard new Battleships songs, and they didn’t disappoint! Awesome band :)  

Here are my  photos from this weeks Whiplash gig, Soror Dolorosa, Les Discrets and Alcest.
I was already looking forward to this, as I’ve listened to quite a bit of Alcest’s work, and really liked it, but the gig blew me away! Each band was amazing, the music was beautiful and all of the guys from the bands were really friendly.

KOF at the 02 Liverpool.

I’d shot KOF before at the Love Music Hate Racism gig, and really liked his music so I followed him on twitter and send him his photos from LMHR, got chatting to him and cheekily asked if he could get me into his 02 gig as a favour, id shoot it for him aswell. His people pulled me out a nice favour and got me an access all areas photopass for his gig.
Supporting KOF was: A me B, Future, Kobi Onyame, Esco Williams and Karl Sweeney And The Sweet Knees. 

This was a promo shoot at a new music, party and event venue in Liverpool called The Dome, ontop of an alternative shopping center called Quiggins.
I really loved this shoot, as the venue was an old methodist church the architechture was beauitful and the original organ was still in a lovely condition, so roaming around on my own, taking pictures of small details as well as exactly what the client wanted was my perfect day.

I’ve met worked with Anna and Alisha before and again had a really good time shooting them.

Some photos from this weeks Whiplash Night,a night of metal music, from all over the globe, in Liverpool’s ‘The Lomax’

This week included, Burial, Cemtex, Svart Crown and Ulcerate.
I really enjoyshooting these nights, even though I’m not always a fan of the music,
the visuals are a really big part of the bands sets, and so I end up with some lovely, dramatic pictures.
