A friend of my (also a rather talented DJ and muso) put on his first club night in Zanzibar a few days ago, so I decided to go along and do some crazy experimental photos, which hopefully suit the House and ‘WUBWUB’ Dupstep mixes played all night!
It was such a good night, good music and friendly DJ’s! So look out for Tempomental at Zanzibar, I think the next night is around September Freshers week, it’s well worth it!

From Moon Duo’s gig at Kazimier.
Crazy gig, these guys are kinda dark soothing goth shoegaze with rythmical keyboard and a (not very photo friendly) light projection ratehr than just standard lights.
All in all a good show in a beautiful venue!

Loved having my photos exhibited in the most iconic buildings in Liverpool, The Royal Liver Building, with the rest of my class, and most of the college. It was such a good way to end this year, and our whole college experience! 3 years of hard college work went into my career so far, though I am not only leaving with a First Diploma, and Extended National Diploma in Photography, but also the greatest experiences and best friends I have ever had!
And if anybody is in Liverpool, and is interested in going to see our exhibition, its open weekdays between 10am-4pm untill next Wednesday. You should enter on Water Street, and the photography is on the back right hand side!
The gig photos are mine, the black and white portraits of a girl in a suit are my best friends, and the black and white train seat, and boys portraits are another friends.
The whole exhibition is well worth a look!

Photos from a gig in the Liverpool 02 Academy, with an Irish band called The Coronas.
I really liked these, they were a happy, up tempo, indie/ballad group, whose fans were literally mesmerized by their playing.
I was later sent their full album by the Magazine I shot this for, and can quite honestly tell you that they are as good live as recorded! So I will be keeping an eye out for these guys coming back

Finally been able to scan in and edit the black and white 35mm film I shot at Battleships’ gig.
Im really pleased with the way this has come out, as my first time for a lot of things : shooting a gig in film, developing 3200 film and scanning and editing film.
At first I wasn’t sure about the amount of grain, but I love it now! :D
I used my Canon 5 and Ilford DELTA 3200 film.

Some of the Digital photos I took during Battleships gig in the Zanzibar on March 9th, I mostly shot film that night, which I should be developing, printing and scanning tomorrow, so hopefully I’ll have some good ones to upload here.
This was the first time I’d heard new Battleships songs, and they didn’t disappoint! Awesome band :)

Looks like I have TONNES of editing to do after my head-shot shoot with some more students of LIPA, which ended up turning into a ballet shoot with Bea, which taught me alot about dance, and seems to have produce some really beautiful images, which will be coming soon :)
Also, thanks to everyone who reblogged, liked or messaged me about my Alcest photographs :) Really loving the support!

Here are my photos from this weeks Whiplash gig, Soror Dolorosa, Les Discrets and Alcest.
I was already looking forward to this, as I’ve listened to quite a bit of Alcest’s work, and really liked it, but the gig blew me away! Each band was amazing, the music was beautiful and all of the guys from the bands were really friendly.
